OCR Staff and friends will be hosting a table at the Bay Area Science Festival “Discovery Days” at AT&T Park just off the Embarcadero.
When: Saturday November 3
What time: 11:00am – 4:00pm PDT
Where: AT&T Park. We’ll be on the “Promenade Level”
Cost: Free!
The event is aimed at K-12 students, but will be a hoot for the parent-aged folks as well.
Our exhibit “The Power of Sound” will have some hands on displays demonstrating how sound works in water, visualization of sound through spectrograms, exploration of ocean sounds – animal and human, and of course didactic discussions.
Come on down and visit! Or if you have some extra time, come help us out with the young’uns.
It should be a beautiful day. We’ll be there a bit before 10am and will be having an “after party” in town once the event shuts down.
I can be reached on 415-488-0553 throughout the event.
Sure! You can write to me at info@ocr.org.
I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂
